RPM

Rapid Prompting Method or RPM is an educational method developed by Soma Mukhopadhyay.  RPM’s primary goals are to teach age appropriate academic materials and to improve purposeful movement which is important in daily life.  Communication skills are also practiced through academic learning.  The student will learn to express their thoughts by pointing to letters on a letter board.

Here is a link for a study on RPM titled “Harnessing Repetitive Behaviors to Engage Attention and Learning in a Novel Therapy for Autism:  An Exploratory Analysis.”
